When we discussed the book at my library book group that meets at the local coffee shop we had a bit of a disagreement over one part toward the end. Who killed August? Marlena or Rosie?
I ran across something else interesting. I thought it related to the Stones Into Schools book even though it is a different organization. The goals seem to be the same. Perhaps if a person wanted to support the goal and didn't like the controversy over Greg Mortenson this would be an option.

I followed the link to the video from the home site and the kids in it are cute as a button.
I hope you like Oryx and Crate Michael. It is a book that still haunts me. I want to listen to more of Atwood but will wait till I am ready for something heavy. She brings up a lot to think about.
